About Healing Hands is privately owned by Tine Driver. Since many spas are owned by large corporations, being privately owned gives About Healing Hands the ability to give you that "personal touch" that has been lost by many spas. Tine strives to maintain that security that comes from developing a close, ongoing relationship with your therapist. Tine has made it the Mission of About Healing Hands to be your personal day spa; a place where you know when you call they are there for you. We have put together a list of some of the Frequently Asked Questions for your convenience.





Q. Do I need to make an appointment?
A. Yes. By scheduling appointments, we are able to give each of our clients our undivided attention through out their scheduled time.

Q. How early should I arrive for my treatment?
A. If it is your first appoinment with us, please arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your appointment  time. This will allow you enough time to give us some information to make sure your experience is all it can be.  Your appointment time is reserved for you, so we ask that you please call us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel in order to avoid any charges.

Q. What should I bring with me?
A. You do not need to bring anything with you other than possibly a hair clip to hold longer hair. For safekeeping, we recommend you leave any valuable jewelry at home. We cannot take responsibility for lost items.

Q. Can I purchase gift certificates to give as a gift?
A. Yes! CLICK HERE OR come by the spa to purchase gift certificates available in a denomination that suits every budget.

Q. Do you have special savings I can print and use when I pay for my selected service?
A. Yes. CLICK HERE to visit our special savings page and follow the instructions.

Q. Are there any concerns I should have if I am pregnant or am experiencing my menstrual cycle?
A. If you have any health concerns, you should consult your physician before visiting our day spa. If you are pregnant you may want to avoid treatments using deep pressure; however, we do have prenatal massages specifically designed for the expectant mom who is past her first trimester. Please inform our receptionists upon scheduling your appointments if you are pregnant.

Q. Do I have to disrobe completely for my spa treatments?
A. That is totally up to the individual. We feel that you should disrobe to your own specific comfort level.

Q. Can I ask my therapist to make adjustments for my comfort?
A. Absolutely. This is your treatment. Communicate with therapist regarding the type of therapy you enjoy. Pressure can be adjusted to your individual needs.

Q. Do you offer services for both men and women?
A. Our spa is able to accommodate both men and women. We can offer husband/wife specials so that you can enjoy your treatments in the same room together. You can be rest assured we will protect your privacy.

Q. How can I find out what products are being used during my treatment?
A. If you ask your therapist, they will explain the type of lotion or oils being used during your treatment.

Q. Can I bring my cell phone or pager?
A. Please turn off your cell phones and pagers prior to arrival. Be mindful of other guest's experience. While you are welcome to engage in quiet conversation, please use the same discretion you desire from others. Many guests savor this much needed quiet time.

Q. May I bring my children?
A. We strive to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment for all our clients. We request children be brought into the salon only when they have an appointment. So please, make babysitting arrangements in advance and come enjoy the experience without little ones.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. Cash, Checks, Visa, Mastercard and our own gift certificates.
